We sell supplies specifically designed for Utility Detection and Protection.
We understand the importance of protecting the infrastructure that you install. To help save you time and money in repairs, we can install Utility Markers and/or Tracer Wire to protect your existing facilities as well as supply you with the products that you need for initial installation of your new facilities, at Wholesale prices.
We have a variety of detection supplies in stock, ready to deliver to your site. If you have specific detection/protection supplies that are required by your project specifications, let us know what you need, we can get them for you at better rates than your pipe suppliers.
Tracer Wire is commonly installed with non-metallic underground utilities to allow for future detection of the buried facilities. Facilities which are generally not 'toneable' with Traditional Locating equipment include, but are not limited to, Plastic Gas Lines, Sewer lines, PVC conduit, di-electric Fiber Optic Cables, etc...
We sell both Copper and Copper Clad Steel (CCS) Tracer Wire, and can get you any other type of Tracer Wire the specifications call for on your project. We can also help you in determining the best type of Tracer Wire for your project and budget.
We offer Wholesale pricing on Tracer Wire and have stock on hand ready to deliver to your site. We are based in Michigan, and in most cases can facilitate same day or next day delivery to your site in Michigan.
Reinforced Tracer Wire
Copper Clad Steel (CCS) Tracer Wire is comprised of a steel inner core with a metallurgically bonded Copper Coating, and is insulated with a High Density Polyethelyne (HDPE) jacket which is available in different thicknesses for greater strength and durability.
CCS Tracer Wire has a higher break-load strength, holds up longer and costs considerably less than solid copper.
The strongest CCS Tracer Wire available produces a Break Load Strength of 1,150 lbs, providing excellent performance, at considerably reduced costs (than pure copper wire), in tough Directional Boring Applications.
A more flexible CCS Tracer Wire is also available for lighter applications.
Tracer Wire is available in 14awg, 12awg, and 10awg wire sizes.
Spool sizes are available in 500', 1,000' and 2,500'
Available in any industry standard color; Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Red, Black and White.
Other Wire types, put-ups, sizes and colors also available upon request.

Make your existing 'Non-Detectable' facilities become 'Detectable'
In most cases we can install Tracer Wire with a utility even though it is already installed underground. This will allow for your existing 'non-detectable' facility to become 'detectable' with Traditional Locating equipment.
We also provide Underground (waterproof) splices designed specifically for Underground Tracer Wire.

New Law in the State of Michigan
The State of Michigan has enacted a new Law that went into effect on April 1, 2014. This Law is called the Miss Dig Underground Facility Damage Prevention and Safety Act
Act 174 of 2013
Within this Law, it states in Part 460.727 Section 7(8), that "New Facilities built after the effective date of this act shall be constructed in a manner that allows their detection when in use."
With this new law in effect, it is now necessary for new installed non-metallic facilities to be detectable in the State of Michigan.
If your facility, installed after April 1 2014, is damaged during an excavation, and it is found that your facility was non-detectable you may be found 'at fault' and held liable for the costs associated with repairing it along with any other associated damage costs.
The most economical and efficient way to make your non-metallic facilities 'detectable' is achieved by installing Tracer Wire with the underground utility.
Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) Locate Systems
Many entities may have a FOC network system that connects multiple locations over a large area, or may have cables that run for long distances between
'hook up' points.
The Fiber Optic Locate System (FLS) is designed to allow the FOC to be located anywhere along the network very efficiently. The FLS consists of a permanent centralized control unit (transmitter) which, when initialized, will transmit an electromagnetic field along the Tracer Wire which runs with the FOC.
The Locate Technician can initialize the system on the desired frequency and then move freely to any location along the network and locate the FOC with the receiver without having to hook up at various locations along the way.
This saves valuable time in the field, allows for quicker and more accurate locates in emergency situations, and improves security to your network by eliminating the need for multiple access points.
We sell and install these units and are available throughout the operation of the network for Managing, Servicing and Locating your Fiber Optic/Cable Management Locate System.
We Sell, Install, Manage, Service and Locate it for you.
